Signing of the cooperation agreement with the Association of Slovene Higher Vocational Colleges

In the framework of this year's conference on quality organized by the Association of Slovene Higher Vocational Colleges, which took place on 6 November 2018 in Ljubljana, the Director dr. Franci Demšar together with five other stakeholders signed a cooperation agreement with the Association within the PROCSEE Project.

The conference titled Through project work to higher quality in higher vocational education was held at the Culinary and Tourism Center Kult 316. It was intended for representatives of vocational colleges and other relevant stakeholders dealing with quality of education in Slovenia and beyond.

The central part of the conference was the solemn signing of cooperation agreements within the PROCSEE project – Strengthening tertiary vocational education in Central and South-Eastern Europe. In addition to the SQAA, the Association of Slovene Higher Vocational Colleges signed the agreement with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia, the Slovenian Student Union, the Employment Service of Slovenia and the Association of Regional Development Agencies.

While making the address, the Director of the Agency dr. Franci Demšar pointed out that the SQAA would continue to strive for continued excellent cooperation with the Association both within the project and in general. He also mentioned a recent excellent cooperation in the revision of Evaluation Criteria and pointed out the establishment of the SQAA Quality Award as a future goal. The latter would also be awarded at the annual conference on quality organized by the Association, and would reward examples of good practices in the field of higher vocational education in Slovenia.
