External Quality Assurance of the Agency

Through memberships in international associations for quality assurance in higher education, the Agency demonstrates compliance of its functioning with European standards and guidelines.

Work of the agency is assessed in procedures of external evaluations by the following international associations: The European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), The European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR) and The European Consortium for Accreditation in Higher Education  (ECA).

According to international documents (mainly ESG) the international associations  assess the work of the agencies in procedures of external evaluations. The quality assurance agencies in European Higher Education area follow the same principles and guidelines and processes and procedures should be drafted according to purpose and requirements of international documents. The main purpose of external evaluations is continuous improvement of the work of agencies and to ensure the independence and responsibility towards higher education institutions.
